Beach Boys

ENID, Okla. – May, 2016 – The Beach Boys are still bringing their good vibrations all across the country. Original member and lead man, Mike Love, continues to front the band and is its driving force.

The Beach Boys continue to create and perform with the same bold imagination and style that marked their explosive debut over 50 years ago. Enid was treated to every top charting song the band has ever had. The band played hit after hit in a concert that over delivered what anyone was expecting.

In addition to founding Beach Boy Mike Love (lead vocals) and Beach Boy-vet Bruce Johnston (vocals/keyboards), the band members are Jeffrey Foskett (guitar/vocals), Brian Eichenburger (bass/vocals), Tim Bonhomme (keyboards/vocals), John Cowsill of The Cowsills (percussion /vocals) and Scott Totten (guitar/vocals).

Original member and song writer, Brian Wilson, also tours in another version of the Beach Boys. Mike Love is the Wilson’s cousin and has been a Beach Boy from the beginning. Glen Campbell replaced Brian Wilson on tour in 1964 when Wilson withdrew from touring. Bruce Johnston replaced Campbell in 1965 when his solo career took off.

Love and Johnston, belted out the harmonies like they have for 50 years. Love was talkative and joked often with the audience. The band took an intermission after about an hour and a half but then continued the hits well into the evening. Backed by a large video screen, the show featured vintage photos of the band and retro music videos.
