This morning I told Clepper about going to film Southern Christmas being filmed in Guthrie. I listed many of the actors in the film. We talked about Bo Derek, an actress in the movie, and how she got Clepper in trouble in high school. Clepper had a date!

I gave a list of words that are being added to the Merriam-Webster dictionary this year. Face-palm, airball, safe place and snollygoster were a few. We looked up the definition of ghost (someone).

We mentioned the death of Nazih Zuhdi, M.D., who passed away on Feb. 7, 2017 at the age of 91. Dr. Zuhdi and his medical team performed the state’s first heart transplant. Current Enid resident, Dr. David Vanhooser, was a second-year medical resident charged with retrieving the donor heart from Dalton, Ga.

Events included the NOC Bedlam basketball game, T & C Meats in Stonebridge Plaza, Valentine’s, Enid Symphony, Youth & Family Services, Victorian Valentines, Chloe-Beth CD release, Bob Bennett concert and Clepper listed Bids for Bargains.
